THERE'S A LIGHT AT THE END OF THE ROAD
Friendship are gifts from God to treasure for a life time.

The "Golden Years" can bring great joy, wisdom, and love to others. Aging should not be an unhappy journey that causes persons to stop learning, growing and enhancing their lives. With the experiences that senor citizens obtain over the years they can help to empower and enrich the lives of others approaching their "Golden Years".
Over the years I have referred to the seniors as "Seasoned Citizens". They have many ingredients to strengthen others to hold onto God's unchanging hand, to pass the family traditions to the next generations, and to help maintain the standards of God's church and community.
It is vital that we help our churches, families, and communities to value the lives and the wealth of information that our seasoned citizens bring to us for the Kingdom Building of God.
Let us remember to love our "Seasoned Citizens" treasure them, and care for them with all we have within us. Truly it is a blessing to be able to live and love in the "Golden Years".
Take time together for that monthly date, vacation, walk on the beach, and remember to take time to smell the flowers now!
